Community Groups and Individuals Recognised at Dublin HELP Awards

The Church of Scientology & Community Centre of Dublin marked International Volunteer Recognition Day 2026 by holding the sixth annual HELP Awards, an event dedicated news european union to recognising people and groups helping others throughout Ireland. The event brought together volunteers, community leaders, human rights advocates, changemakers and past honourees.

The keynote address was delivered by previous awardee Frank Allen, a playwright, director and former Dublin Prisons teacher. Awardees included Walk And Talk with Stephen Brennan, the Kurdish Community of Ireland with Mokthar Moradi, the Indonesian-Irish Association with Irene Murphy, Scoil Rince Ní Áogain with Denise Egan, Nicolae Dulea, Joseph Orgin and Feljose Shristeca, Stefano Bonvini, Mohammed Rashid from Safco Fine Foods, Mass Events Ireland, Dr. Mahesh Baj and Neera Baj.

Founded in 2019 by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers, the HELP Awards recognise people and organisations making a difference through volunteer action. They also reflect the broader mission of the Scientology Volunteer Minister programme, created by author and humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard, whose trained volunteers offer practical help in communities and during times of crisis. The event celebrated the impact of volunteerism and the value of practical community support.
